Ron Shemesh, M.D., A.B.H.M., F.A.C.O.G.,  Integrative Medical Doctor and Gynecologist

      Dr. Shemesh guides patients through the myriad of holistic alternatives on their way to individualized self healing. He is a graduate of Rutgers College, New York Medical College, and former clinical instructor at New York University Medical Center. His residency training is in obstetrics and gynecology at Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Shemesh is a fellow of the American College of Gynecology and is also board certified in the American Board of Holistic Medicine.

     While practicing medicine he soon discovered that when he took time to really get to know his patients and expressed an interest in their lives, they were happier and healed faster. spending more time than is typically expected by a doctor yielded amazing results.

     As a former cancer patient himself, Dr. shemesh became disenchanted and frustrated by the long waits to see doctors. They offered him very little satisfaction during brief and hurried exams. He knew the answer could be found in spending more time with each person to understand the cause of their illness and help the healing process.

      Dr. Shemesh studied healing modalities and has traveled to Egypt, Israel, China, Tibet and Indonesia. In his practice, he integrates homeopathy, bio-identical hormones, nutriceuticals meditation, stress management, and mind-body-spirit connectivity with conventional medicine to assist healing.  

      A frequent speaker on local and national radio and television shows, Dr. Shemesh has been seen and heard on the Discovery Channel, Healthy Talk Radio hosted by Deborah Ray, and more.  Dr. Shemesh also conducts workshops for corporations focusing the benefits of healthy and natural lifestyle.
